Sugarcult have announced a special show in Anaheim, CA on December 10th, marking the 10th Anniversary of their debut album Start Static. The show will feature the band's original founding line-up. Press release in replies.

Sugarcult will be playing a Toys for Tots holiday show on December 17th at the Anaheim, CA House of Blues. Call the Cops will be opening.

What ever happened to Sugarcult? To be honest, they were one of the better pop-rock bands. And now as the weather starts to turn ... it's been the perfect time to break them back into my playlist. I almost forgot how well this band could write a pop song. They've sort of fallen off the face of the earth though. If you've never heard of these guys before ... now is the time. If you were a fan back when they were (are?) making music -- we'd love to hear from you as you break out the tunes and discuss the band in the replies.

Stacy Clark's upcoming album, Apples and Oranges, features some pretty big guest vocal appearances. Aaron Marsh (Copeland), Tim Pagnotta (Sugarcult), and Tom Higgenson (Plain White T's) all contribute vocals to tracks on the record.

Tim Pagnotta of Sugarcult will be playing two solo shows next month (one will be with Chuck Ragan). Head to the replies for the dates.

Sugarcult will headline the 2007 Bay Area Indie Music Fest on August 25th in Martinez, Ca. at John Muir Amphitheater.

MxPx had a few guests appear on their new album, Secret Weapon. Bad Religion guitarist Brian Baker contributes to "Secret Weapon," singer Tim Pagnotta of Sugarcult can be heard on "Shut It Down," and former Superdrag frontman John Davis helps with piano and backing vocals on "Sad Sad Song."

Billboard is reporting that V2 Records has laid off its staff and will be focusing on on their back catalog. That seems to make Sugarcult, Alkaline Trio, The Blood Brothers, and many others: label-less.
