The Cheap Suits have won this years COCA (Canadian Organization of Campus Activities) Indie Band of the Year Award. Previous winners of the award include Bedouin Soundclash, Matthew Good Band, and Great Big Sea. Keep an eye out this coming school year for the Cheap Suits to be playing a handful of colleges and universities, for which dates will be announced shortly.

Silverstein have a very important update regarding the Take Action tour. The Tampa show has been cancelled due to the venue being shut down. They have added a headlining show in Gainesville, FL @ Common Grounds (tickets $7) on March 10th. Also, the band will not be performing in South Carolina next week, but the show will still be going on without them.

Press release: Due to a last minute joint session of Congress, the Take Action! Tour press conference will be held at 9:30AM - 45 minutes earlier than originally scheduled. The location- The House Cannon Building (Room 340), and the date- March 1st are the same as originally scheduled. The event kicks off the 2006 Sub City Take Action! Tour, Presented by Hot Topic.
