Target will not be selling the latest self-titled album from Beyoncé. Most physical retailers will receive and have the album in stores this Friday, December 20th. In other Beyoncé news, the album sold over 828k worldwide in the iTunes Store in just its first three days and also broke the US first week album sales record with over 617k sold.
"At Target we focus on offering our guests a wide assortment of physical CDs, and when a new album is available digitally before it is available physically, it impacts demand and sales projections," Target spokesperson Erica Julkowski tells Billboard.
Next week, you'll be able to pick up Every Time I Die's upcoming album, New Junk Aesthetic, at Target for only $8.99. If you fancy the deluxe edition, which comes with 2 bonus tracks and a DVD, then you'll have to head over to Best Buy, where it'll only be $9.99. Whatever you do, make sure you pick up this ballbuster of an album on September 15th.
