So those The Early November reunion rumors were just Jeff playing with us, but Ace Enders has decided to whet our anything-Ace-Enders-has-ever-done whistle. Read what he wrote in his myspace blog below and rejoice.
Ace "Awesome" EndersIt seems like most of you understand now that Jeffís comment last week about the band getting back together wasnít true, but the responses Iíve seen got me thinking. I appreciate how so many of you still care about the band. Itís really touching and I feel the same way that a lot of you do about the whole thing.

So I have an idea. Iím going to be combining the old with the new from now on. Serg and I will be on tour this summer playing a couple old...

Introducing Doylestown, PA's Balance and Composure. Those familiar with that scene may recognize Jon Simmons' signature vocals from the now defunct Erection Kids, but this quintet is here to introduce you to a much different sound. Comparable to The Early November meets the 90's Midwest Emotional rock outbreak, you can now hear their debut EP, I Just Want To Be Pure over on their AP.net profile.

Jeff Kummer has posted an update regarding new Your Sweet Uncertainty songs and The Early November's b-sides record.
Message from JeffTEN news (2 year anniversary / b-side)

exactly two years ago, we released our last album. so in celebration of that, im streaming a b-side that was recorded during "the rooms too cold" sessions. "make it happen" was orginally recorded as part of "the acoustic ep" which was released in 2002. this full-band version, along with a few others did not make the cut for our 2003 release, "the rooms too cold". this song is now available for your listening pleasure.

im currently speaking with drive-thru about the release of a b-sides album. i want to get you...

Read my interview with Jeff Kummer of Your Sweet Uncertainty and The Early November here.
From the InterviewThe chances of The Early November getting back together for a reunion show are better than shitty. Itís not like we all hate each other, so weíve got that going for us. But even if that did happen, it would be somewhere far down the road.

Grace Period's new song "The Shredder" can be heard on their myspace.
Message From The BandThanks so much to everybody who gave these songs a chance and had positive things to say about them. Its really hard to do something now and have it not be compared to the early november. Its hard to get people to see this is as completley different band. So i really want to thank the people that gave it a chance like a new band should have. I really appreciate that. As of today, all four unmastered songs are streaming on our myspace page along with a new video update. weve also set up a grace period message board. We'd like to get to know you all better and this is a good way to do it. So if you'd...

A 15 minute video of Ace Ender's set from last night can be seen at myspace. This video includes two never before heard songs and some fan favorites. Ace did play some Early November songs ("Ever So Sweet" and "Sunday Drive"), but claimed this tour was probably the last time he'd ever be playing them, until he was "the guy on the street corner with his guitar case open". When asked about the TEN DVD, Ace said to be really patient because Drive-Thru "hasn't paid for the video yet."

Jenn and Ace Enders have started an organization called The Sound of Evolution. The idea behind it is bringing respect between fans, artists, etc. back to the music industry.
Organization DescriptionThe Sound of Evolution is an organization founded by Ace and Jenn Enders, devoted to exploring and experimenting with solutions for creating a symbiotic relationship between music and the modern world. The basic principle of the organization revolves around respect. Music as an art form, artists who create music, individuals who make careers out of music and all fans of music must rekindle the respect that should exist between all of them.

The following was submitted by a fan who attended one of The Early November's last shows ever in Philadelphia.
Fan Reports InThe Early November killed it last night at the Troc in Philly on the first of their last two shows ever. Started off the show with "Hair," then went on to play a bunch of songs from The Mother, The Mechanic, and The Path. They then played some songs off of The Rooms Too Cold. They also played "No Good At Saying Sorry" in this time and at the end of the song they played part of Oasis's "Champagne Supernova," as always. Then the rest of the band went off the stage as Ace went on to tell us about one of his two mom's passing away over the past week and how he had to...

The Early November have been forced to cancel select dates on their ongoing headlining tour due to a "serious family emergency."
Press ReleaseIt makes us extremely sad to say that due to a serious family emergency, we've had to cancel the next 3 shows in Buffalo, Boston, and New Haven. The Rocket Summer, Melee, and Nothing Ever Stays will still play the show tonight in Buffalo, but we aren't quite sure if they will play as planned in Boston and New Haven.

We are going to try to make these last few dates up to you guys, but we'll have to see how everything works out.

These unfortunate series of events, however, have not affected out 2 final shows at the Trocadero in Philadelphia on...

Jeff Kummer of The Early November has responded to the earlier newspost about the band.
Statementi remember doing this interview a couple days ago.. although i said a lot of things in the same sense.. alot of my words are switched around.. making me look like a serious douche bag. the main thing that stood out to me was "We're with Drive-Thru and they're really good people, but I'd like to see what it would be like if our band was on something amazing."

i have no beef with our label. everything is cool.. so before everyone starts freaking out i just wanted to clear that up.
