Hello everybody. It's been a long time since we've posted a formal blog or anything of the sort (I feel like we say that every time we actually do post one of these, but seriously, it's gonna stop now).

I'm typing this from Salad Days in Baltimore (where we recorded Anhedonia) sitting in my usual late night chair in the kitchen. It's weird to think that over six months ago I was in the exact same spot writing and recording our album. We haven't been able to spend much time at home since we started touring in Jan, but somehow coming here makes all of us feel a little better. This city will...

The Graduate have new merchandise available at their webstore. Also, the band is looking for a little help out on their Warped Tour stint. The Graduate is on board for both Summerfest (June 28 - July 8) in Milwaukee, WI and Lollapalooza (August 3 - 5) in Chicago, IL.

Jon Lally will be at this Friday's stop of the Audition's Spring 2007 tour that we're helping sponsor alongside Punk the Clock. He'll be videotaping interviews with the bands - but the bands will be interviewing each other and need your help with questions. Find the details below.

Instead of the normal staff member interviewing the band, we're doing 4 interviews and letting the bands interview each other and catching it all on tape! We've set 4 members of the Audition up with one tour mate of their opening band. The match-ups are:

Message From The Band

Hey everyone. I just wanted to write something to send out to all of you since it's kind of a special day for us. We've been waiting since the beginning of the year to get this thing out and Apr 10 is finally here! We couldn't be more excited to share this album with all of you, and we hope that you will take some time today to go pick up the album in a store, off iTunes, where ever you can find it.

I know a lot of you have already downloaded our album. We actually had some girls at a show last night tell us they wouldn't buy our CD...

The Graduate is being featured today as Spin's Band Of The Day, and also offering their single "Sit And Sink" as a free download right here.

Rumor has it that you can now purchase The Graduate's album, Anhedonia, now on iTunes. The album hits stores next Tuesday, April 10th.

The biggest goal we have for our band is that we want to be in a band that everyone follows. We don’t want to be the band that gets high off a trend. We want to have a lasting career where people can get into our band and stick with us.

The band's album hits stores on April 10th, but in the mean time you can head over to the band's AP profile and download their Horror Show EP for free or stream the album on purevolume.

The Graduate have gone to Crown Point, Indiana and entered the studio with their Horror Show EP producer, Seth Henderson to record around 4 or 5 acoustic songs. One of the songs will be a previously unreleased track. No word on how the band will release these tracks yet.

Here are some stills from The Graduate's video shoot for the song "Sit And Sink." The video was directed by Fashion Bleeds (Matchbook Romance, Straylight Run, Meg & Dia) and will be on the band's debut album "Anhedonia" in stores everywhere April 10th 2007.

The Graduate was added to the last week of dates on the Jacks Mannequin tour. You can see the dates of the tour the band will be on myspace. Absolutepunk is also giving away free music by The Graduate! You can get the band's Horrorshow EP for free right here.

The Graduate will be on the Smartpunk Stage for this year's Warped Tour. So far they're booked for fifteen dates, but more should be coming in. Don't forget, you can download their EP for FREE on their AP.net Artist Profile. Dates below.
