We The Kings announced before their appearance on The Gunz Show that they have been asked to throw out the first pitch at a Tampa Bay Rays game. The game, against the Toronto Blue Jays, will be televised on FOX and the band will be playing a concert afterwards. To top it off, the mayor of Bradenton will be giving them the key to the city.

This is Gunz, the host of The Gunz Show, on Idobi Radio. A correction to an earlier news post: Coby from Say Anything said on my show that the follow-up album, In Defense of the Genre, COULD very well come out much sooner than the winter timeframe (late 07/early 08) as was earlier reproted. So let not your heart be troubled people -- the bottom line is we will have a new Say Anything album and that means new Say Anything songs and, to me, that's pretty much heaven.
