Omar Rodriguez-Lopez (The Mars Volta) will be releasing his latest solo album, The Apocalypse Inside of an Orange, tomorrow on vinyl, and on CD in early 2008. His next solo release after that will be entitled Calibration and is set to be out on CD in Japan December 15th, with a US release date of February/March. This time it's literal. The Mars Volta have put together a puzzle for their cover art to the upcoming The Bedlam in Goliath on their site. If you can figure it out, you will be able to download a free cover song from the band.

The Mars Volta's upcoming effort, The Bedlam in Goliath, has been delayed until January 28th courtesy of Universal Music. The disc's lead single, "Goliath," is expected to go to radio this November.

The Mars Volta has titled their new album The Bedlam In Goliath; the record is set to be produced by Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and engineered / mixed by Robert Carranza. The album is scheduled for a Fall release.
