The Morning Light's debut EP, The Sounds of Love, is now available for pre-order. When you order from Interpunk, Smartpunk, or Merchnow, you will receive a free poster and sticker along with a signed CD booklet. The EP hits all record stores on March 4th and you will also be available digitally on iTunes for $3.99.
The Morning Light will be entering the studio with producer Matt Goldman on February 4th to record their debut album. The band will also be updating their own studio video diary right here on AP.net each week until they're finished recording.

Just Surrender have announced that they will be adding a special cover song to their myspace on Wednesday at 12 p.m. EST as a holiday present to their loyal fans. The band will also be playing their annual holiday show next Friday, December 21st at the Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY. Joining them will be special guest Ace Enders. The Morning Light has posted "The Love" from their The Sounds Of Love EP on myspace; The Sounds Of Love is now available for purchase on iTunes. For those in the Pittsburgh area, the band is playing a hometown show tomorrow night, September 21st, at Club Diesel.
For all of you who had planned on attending tomorrow's show at the Trocadero in Philadelphia, PA with Brighten, The Morning Light, and The Maine, the show has unfortunately been canceled. Instead of wasting a day, the bands are still going to be showing up at the venue and want all the kids to meet them there. They will be meeting everyone at the venue at 6 PM and then be moving to an yet to be determined location nearby where they will be playing acoustic, selling merch, and grilling hot dogs for everyone who comes to hang out.
The Morning Light will begin their first US tour this Sunday, and will be going out with Brighten and The Maine. For all confirmed tour dates, check below; the West Coast portion will be announced shortly.
The Morning Light (ex-Transition) has posted a new track entitled "Books and Letters" on their Myspace profile. The band recorded the track, along with 3 other songs, with Jordan Schmidt (Matt Squire's engineer) and will be unveiling more soon.

Harrison Wargo and Matt Colussy, former members of the now-defunct Transition, have surfaced in a new project titled The Morning Light. The band has posted two demos on their Myspace page; expect to hear some new tunes very shortly as the group just finished recording at Matt Squire's studio with Squire's assistant Jordan Schmidt.
