The Spill Canvas are now in Los Angeles recording their new, major label debut album. It seems it's going to be some time before it's released, so the band decided in order to keep fans sane until then they'll release an EP. More than likely, the EP will be released on May 1st and will include three original songs and two covers.

The past three years of my life have been absolutely remarkable. The experiences I’ve had, places I’ve seen, and people I’ve met all exceeded any expectation that I could have ever imagined. I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. Playing music and traveling has always been my all time dream ever since I was just a little kid. Motion City Soundtrack, with special guests The Spill Canvas and Attention, will be performing at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN on Thursday, December 21st. All ages are welcome, and doors are at 5:30PM with the show starting at 6:30PM. Tickets are $20 and go on sale this Friday, December 8th at 4:00PM at all Ticketmaster outlets. Get around the service charge by purchasing directly at the venue's box office. Free hand-screened, limited edition commemorative posters with each paid admittance will be available at the show.
