Twin Falls, the new project of Chris Carrabba and Suzie Zeldin, is changing its name to Twin Forks following a short-lived controversy over the moniker. A mere couple days ago, we reported that a UK artist who calls himself Twin Falls claimed that the new superband stole his identity. Okay. Way to be a good sport, Carrabba and Co. The band has also released a new song, which you can check out in the replies along with a statement from, um, Twin Forks. Now the only boring name-change whining we have to keep track of is The Story So Far v. The Story So Far.
Chris Carrabba has started a new group called Twin Falls. The band consists of himself on vocals and guitar, Suzie Zeldin (The Narrative) on mandolin and vocals, bassist Jonathan Clark and drummer Ben Homola (Bad Books). You can read more details about the group over at AltPress.
The Narrative is in the running for a "Hometown Hero" contest, where the winner gets to perform at the Z100 Jingle Ball. They are a little less than 100 votes out of first place and today is the last day to vote for them, so if you're interested in helping out the band you can do so here.
The Narrative have progressed through a chunk of recording their new album and are trying to have it done by the end of the summer. Thirteen songs have been tracked. For the first time, they are looking to sign to a label.
The Narrative released its B-Sides and Seasides full-length last week through a donation system on its website. The record consists of 10 B-sides or alternate versions of released songs and today, we have the alternate version of "Fade" streaming on the band's AP.net Profile and in the replies. Check out the new arrangement on the song, which is a pretty big leap from the version that appeared on the group's self-titled LP, and leave your thoughts.
