Jeff Fitzgerald, candidate for U.S. Senate and current Speaker of the Assembly of Wisconsin, used the Dropkick Murphys/Woody Guthrie anthem "Shipping Up To Boston" as his intro at the state’s Republican Party Convention. The band was less than pleased.

The Dropkick Murphys will be performing "Going Out in Style" on Conan on October 13th.

The Dropkick Murphys will be performing at the first ever Call of Duty XP Convention with Kanye West as the headliner.

After sharing his stage with them in their Boston hometown a couple years back, Bruce Springsteen will do guest vocals on the upcoming The Dropkick Murphys album Going Out in Style, trading lead vocals with Ken Casey on "Peg O' My Heart."
