The Mile After has started a tour diary in preparation for their upcoming tour with Hawthorne Heights. The band will start updating the blog consistently with photos & stories from the road when the tour starts on October 17th.

The Mile After recently ended their stint on the Absolutepunk "Bands of the Future" Tour with Mercy Mercedes and Go Crash Audio. They are an amazing band that comes highly recommended. So please check them out.

However, on a brighter note two more killer bands recently joined the tour, Lannen Fall and The Hint. The tour is making a stop in Virgina Beach Tonight.

Message From The BandHello Everyone, for those of you who don’t already know, we spent a few months last summer in a recording studio in Los Angeles, CA making our new album, ARMADA. Once it was completely finished and mastered in March of '08, we did what most bands do, and went out to showcase for and meet with all of the relevant record labels in the country. We had some great response and received some offers to release the album.

The Mile After has finished recording their new album. It is currently in the hands of producer Mark Trombino for mixing. The band has also announced their new bass-player/background-vocalist for thei upcoming tour; Mike Horbacz, the lead singer for the recently disbanded Aussie rock group, Riverwood (AudioArmy/Sony BMG).

The Mile After is currently in the studio recording their debut album; the instruments are being produced by Angus Cooke (The Ataris, Lagwagon), with vocals being produced by Gary St. Clair (All 4 One). The album will be mixed by Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182, Starting Line), and mastered by Eddy Schreyer (Queen, Johnny Cash, Akon). The band is planning on a first quarter 2008 release. Keep up with the band's myspace for video/photo studio-updates as well as more information regarding the release of the record.

Message From The Mile AfterAs many of you already know, we have recently parted ways with Davis. As a result, we are currently looking for a new bass player/vocalist that can contribute to our band! We are looking for someone who not only can play bass, but equally hold his own in front of a mic. Ideally, we'd like it if this person has had experience fronting another band and/or singing backup and harmonizing on a regular basis. Also, this person must be able to tour full time. Additionally, prior tour experience is an added bonus, but not completely necessary. Well that about sums it up…...
