The Mile After has started a tour diary in preparation for their upcoming tour with Hawthorne Heights. The band will start updating the blog consistently with photos & stories from the road when the tour starts on October 17th.
The Mile After's "Piano Song" is currently being featured in the trailer for the upcoming season of The Hills on MTV; the trailer began airing yesterday. Also, the band's independently released album, Armada, is now available on iTunes for $9.99.
The Mile After has posted an unmastered track titled "So Damn Easy" from their upcoming full length on their myspace page. The band has also put together the first installment of their tour/studio video updates, and that can be seen in the replies.
The Mile After has finished recording their new album. It is currently in the hands of producer Mark Trombino for mixing. The band has also announced their new bass-player/background-vocalist for thei upcoming tour; Mike Horbacz, the lead singer for the recently disbanded Aussie rock group, Riverwood (AudioArmy/Sony BMG).
The Mile After is currently in the studio recording their debut album; the instruments are being produced by Angus Cooke (The Ataris, Lagwagon), with vocals being produced by Gary St. Clair (All 4 One). The album will be mixed by Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182, Starting Line), and mastered by Eddy Schreyer (Queen, Johnny Cash, Akon). The band is planning on a first quarter 2008 release.
