Mike Frey from The Transit War is releasing a solo album under the band name ...students. The album, produced by both Aaron Rubin (Denver Harbor) and Mike Frey was recorded in a garage and mixed by Joe Marlett (Queens of the Stone Age, Relient K, Blink 182). The album also features Ilan Rubin (Lostprophets drummer) on drums, guitar, and multiple other instruments. The album is set to come out in Fall 2008 on Orange Peal Records. You can check out 2 new songs on the band's myspace.

Mike Frey of The Transit War has uploaded two songs under the project name "...students". The songs were written and recorded with Ilan Rubin of Lostprophets.

The Transit War has been added to the 91X Nightmare Before Xmas in San Diego with Angels and Airwaves, Bad Religion, and Against Me!. The band is planning to start writing their follow up to 2006's Miss Your Face and are hoping for a mid 2008 release.

I would like to thank you all for giving me the opportunity to share our music with you and also for the support you have given The Transit War over the past 6 years. Without your love and encouragement we probably wouldn't have even attempted to take this project this far. With that being said, I would like to announce that I will no longer be playing with The Transit War. The Transit War will be headlining with Sound the Alarm and Until June in February and March. The Classic Case will be playing some dates as well. If you are a band based in the cities the tour is playing, read the below message to learn how you can open the show.
