Details for the pre-order of Thursday and Envy's split LP together have been announced. Read it below or here.
Pre-Order InformationAfter months of anticipation, we are happy to finally announce the upcoming pre-order for the outrageously good Thursday/Envy split LP+CD. This means it probably won't be available in Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Circuit City, or most "record" stores in the mall. But it will certainly be available at your local independently owned record store, while supplies last. We're not exactly sure how limited it will be yet; maybe 10,000,...

United Nations' self-titled release will be available on September 9, 2008 through Eyeball Records. The band, much ballyhooed for its inclusion of members from influential groups Thursday and Glassjaw, is described as "[featuring] prominent members of two bands you love, one band you hate and a few you never heard of." Message from the BandHey all - We are currently packing our bags for a last minute trip to Belgium, replacing Good Charlotte on this year's amazing Groezrock Festival (where we get to play alongside some of our favorite bands), as well as a tour of the Philippines! It's an honor and a pleasure to be asked to perform at Groezrock, as well as be the first American band asked to play The Kagoma Festival. An AP reader recently saw Thursday in concert and spoke with Geoff about the upcoming United Nations project, including announcing the producer.
Fan ReportAt the Thursday show on Sunday, I spoke with Geoff Rickly about United Nations. He said it's coming along at the pace of as much as Daryl Palumbo is available, and that Daryl's health is actually much better since he now can receive shots to help fight Crohn's on-the-spot.

Geoff also said he and Tim Giles will be producing/mixing/mastering the CD. Thursday will be writing immediately following their New Years Eve show. Full show review and comments from the band members can be found here.

I spoke to Geoff Rickly of Thursday recently about the new CD/DVD, Kill the House Lights. Here's what he had to say to dispel some confusion about the track listing we posted earlier.
Geoff Says...That listing of clips for the dvd side of Kill the House Lights is the Documentary side. There is also a performance side that does have Jet Black. It's forty-five minutes of the starland show which is the most we could salvage from a hard-drive crash that happened during the recording of the show. I know it's only MY OPINION and I am IN THE BAND so I'm totally biased... BUT we killed ourselves making this DVD and I think it's pretty awesome-- it has clips of us in my old basement all the...

Click here to read an MTV.com article on Thursday's decision to sign a one-off deal with Victory Records.
From The ArticleThursday's next studio effort, which they're currently writing material for, could end up on another label altogether.

"We've met with a bunch of people," Rickly said. "We've had interest from Ferret, Atlantic, Fueled by Ramen. We want to meet with everybody. I'm really interested in Saddle Creek and Epitaph — I love those labels."

But signing with Victory isn't out of the question. "We even spoke with Koch Records and talked about signing with Death Row Records, of all places," he said. "How crazy is that?"
