Quote from Article"There are a lot of longtime, diehard Thursday fans that are not psyched about the single," Rickly said. "I wish all these kids could hear the record so they can see where the song fits. I like to go check [the online forums] and see what kids are thinking. Right now it's pretty 50/50 [on the single]. Yesterday it was slightly more on the hating side. I think the more kids let it sink in, the more they'll dig it."

Happy New Year Everyone!

So we’re back in the studio continuing work on our new record right now. Playing the holiday shows and getting to see some of you again was a lot of fun and has us even more excited about finishing our record and getting back out on the road. This is our 3rd session up here at the very snowy Tarbox studios and things are going really well.

Right now this is happening:
Tucker is busy obsessing over his tiny shorts and knee-sock collection. Tom is trying to perfect the mustard sandwich and ordering parts for his custom Harley. Tim is trying to get his fingers to grow...

Thursday Update"So we're back up in Fredonia starting on the 2nd recording session with Dave Fridmann. The songs are turning out amazing. Yesterday Dave had me recording guitar tracks through a ripped 12" speaker that was laying on the floor. Let's just say I was surprised to hear how good it sounded. It's crazy how quickly everything is going this time around. We already will have recorded 10 songs by the end of today; some are in various stages of completion, but they all feel really good. We can't wait to...
