Last night at the Tooth & Nail Tour, Mike from MxPx announced that their drummer Yuri would not be with them on this tour as he and his wife had just had a child. Congratulations to Yuri!

MxPx have announced via an email to Alternative Press that they have re-signed with Tooth & Nail Records. The band will release their new studio album this summer.
In industry news: Both Lobster Records and Tooth & Nail Records have begun issuing "promo" copies of albums via a special digital download website. The website watermarks the files and allows you to download or stream them. The songs are transferable to portable devices, and can be burned onto CDs. A separate download comes with information on the album and artwork. This seems to be a big step toward the future of music.
