Okay, this is going to take a minute: Derrick from The World Is A Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid To Die posted a blog regarding the leak of his band's record, Whenever, If Ever. He explains why the band tried to get the leak taken down (tl;dr: because Topshelf Records didn't want the record online) but simultaneously does not seem to care if you download the leak. He also admits to oftentimes ripping records from Bandcamp if they aren't available for pay-what-you-want download and added this: Fuck, I leaked American Radass, that most recent Circle Takes the Square Record, the most recent mewithoutYou record, and even more recently a new Self Defense Family EP. Into It. Over It.'s new book and 7", titled Life Is Suffering, can be preordered now via Topshelf Records. The full-color, hardcover book features 200 pages of photos taken by Hilary J. Corts on IIOI's first full-band tour. The 7" features two live performances.

Because there are crappy people in the world, The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die's upcoming record, Whenever, If Ever, was leaked a full month ahead of release date. But to make the best of a shit situation, Topshelf Records has put the album up for stream early here (you can also stream it in the replies). You can also buy the album for $7 on the band's Bandcamp or pre-order a physical copy (CD or LP) here. I urge any of you who have downloaded or streamed the record to please pick it up, as it's one of the best records you'll hear in 2013.

This is pretty cool: Into It. Over It. will be releasing a 200-page full color photo book and live 7" record this summer commemorating the band's fall 2012 tour. The photos were taken by Hilary J. Corts and will be released via Topshelf Records on June 25th. In the meantime, you can head to the replies to check out a video featuring footage from the tour.

Diamond Youth has signed to Topshelf Records. The band is currently the studio with Brian McTernan to record their label debut EP, which is slated to come out some time in early 2013.

Topshelf Records has signed Chicago's Cut Teeth. The band features members of The Felix Culpa, Stay Ahead of the Weather, Red Knife Lottery and Monday's Hero. Their debut EP, Televandalism (stream), will be re-released on July 24th.
