Our friends If These Trees Could Talk have just kicked off their European tour, so we asked them to start a tour blog here on AP.net and keep us updated throughout. Their guitarist Mike wrote a quick update before the band left a few days ago, which you can read below.
Tour BlogHello. My name is Mike, and I play guitar in the band If These Trees Could Talk from Akron, OH. Absolutepunk asked if we'd write a few updates during our upcoming tour of Europe. I say upcoming because I'm writing this about 6 hours before we're supposed to meet to get this thing on the move. A little back story: The Trees have been around for the better part of 7 years. Today we have our fourth installment of The Audition's tour blog.
Tour BlogWelllllll holy shit is it really that time again?!?! It must be because the stitches in my hand have finally healed. For those who don't know I got 8 stitches in my hand at the beginning of this tour. Its healing process has been how I have been keeping time. (I'll attach a picture)It feels like I was just in Cleveland the other day. I swear to you this tour has been a complete blur and I promise its not due to the alcohol. Ok, maybe a little bit. Today we've got our second tour blog from The Audition.

After the show everyone went to Angels and Kings where the bottles continued to come out. Needless to say it was a shit show, but everyone had a great time at the first tour party so that's all that matters.

The next day we played Springfield, Va at Empire. That show was a lot of fun, the kids were good and we were really starting to...

Our friends from The Audition have checked in from the road.
Tour BlogAfter taking almost a year and a half off of touring, we decided to start anew, begin again, turn the page, start a new chapter. Which is why over the past year and a half, while working on our new EP for countless hours upon countless days and weeks, we decided to name this EP "Chapter II". We feel this is a fresh start for us after being tied down to things and people that we felt were on completely different pages than we had/have in regard to where we wanted our career to take us. This EP is more to me than just releasing another collection of songs to the world. Its more so about us taking the reigns of our...
