We have a brand new ABSOLUTExclusive featuring Michigan's own That Was Something. The band recorded these songs for their debut record, BEARS!, which is due out on February 26th (digitally this Tuesday). My Getaway was named the #1 band in Alternative Press's Hometown Heroes section early in '07, and they recently teamed up with Marc McCluskey and Jeff Juliano to record a few new songs. After hearing the results, we decided to give them an Unsigned Showcase spot. You can check out a brand new song called "Pour Me Another One" which is now exclusively streaming on their AP.net profile. Show them some love!

The Appreciation Post are entering the studio with producer Mike Poorman (Paulson/Piebald/Nightmare of You) this weekend. The band hopes to release the new songs on their myspace in early 2008. In the meantime, you can listen to two b-sides off the Brighter Sides EP on their AP Profile.

This dark pop-rock band has recently and independently released a self-titled EP, which is now streaming in its entirety on their AP profile. Novice has earned quite a large fanbase in its history and is primed to bring their melodies and technical guitars to even more music lovers. If you haven't checked out this band yet, we recommend you do so now. Don't be the label that just missed out on signing them, and be the casual listener that can say you "knew them way back when" once they're everywhere.
