It's been confirmed that the new record from The Slackers, the follow-up to 2003's Close My Eyes, will be entitled Peculiar. Additionally, Epitaph Records has released a new track from the album, "86 The Mayo", which can be found right here. The record has been set for February 21st, 2006 release via Hellcat Records. Forrest of hellogoodbye is halfway through recording the new album with Matt Mahaffey. Jack from Steel Train joined Forrest in the studio this past weekend for some guest banjo playing.
