Today, I am very proud to share something our users have been hard at work on. Under the direction of kyle is hk, a rather large group of us have voted and ranked our Top 50 Albums of 2000-2015. You can hit the replies to read our list (complete with blurbs from the users), see what artists got the most votes, look at each year's top three albums and discuss what should or shouldn't have made the list. Then, you can head over to this thread to participate in our Top Albums of the 90s list. Awesome work, everyone; what a time to be alive.

You can stream/download a free compilation of cover songs done exclusively by our very own AP.net users here. Once again solidifying that we have the best online community ever.

One of our users, Malcom Lacey also known as Arrange, who was recently featured on AP.net has received a positive review from Pitchfork. Be sure to check out his album on bandcamp and buy the vinyl if you have some spare cash.

This week's Five and Alive is brought to you by the users of AP.net. I'm not much of a forum guy - you guys can be pretty cutthroat sometimes - but I found this topic in our feed and thought it was pretty rad. So rad in fact, it took me an entire month to think of my choice. Head here to check out five albums that a few users and I think are a bit front-loaded, meaning the front half of the album soars above the second second half. Hit the replies with your choices.

I hope you guys are having some great discussions each week with AbsolutePunk's Five and Alive column. This week, I'm giving the power over to you - the users of this fine site. Head to this discussion and post about one album and why you think it's "front-loaded." Since evilandgood was the original poster on this one, he gets one spot...there's four more left - so get writing.

Head here to see the selections for 2010's user photog. Thanks to all that submitted.

Just a reminder that I'll be taking submissions for this year's Absolute Photog feature through the week. Deadline is this Sunday at midnight. Guidelines are simple: Send up to three pictures you've taken at shows this year along with who is in the photo, your name and your user name (if you have one) and the venue/date it was shot to absolutepunk.photos@gmail.com. I'll be shuffling through them next week and getting the chosen ones out the last week of the year. I've gotten double the submissions this year so far, and some amazing ones at that. Thank you all again.

Well, you asked the questions, and Cartel answered them. Check it out here. Let us know what you think of the answers, and the idea of continuing the user interviews in the future.

I recently interviewed Kevin Devine for the site. Unfortunately, he will not be able to do a chat like we had hoped, but will be taking the time out to answer some your questions in a "user interview." Like before, leave them in the replies...but please, one question per user. I'm sending the interview out at the end of the week, yours may just get on there!

Small Towns Burn A Little Slower and The Semester will be hitting the road together this December. Look for shows in the midwest and east coast the 2nd - 17th. Keep checking their myspace for dates!
