This year, MTV is changing things up for the 2007 Video Music Awards. Starting with location, MTV is going to be in control of the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, broadcasting live September 9, 2007. The main awards show will be broadcast from the Pearl in the new amphitheater inside the hotel. However, the hotel's suites have also been made available, and will provide bands an opportunity to hold an intimate show to about 100 fans and friends during the awards show.
