Vinny Vegas released their album The Big White Whale on vinyl yesterday, but I'd be lying if I said that the album hasn't been dominating my iTunes for weeks. Reminiscent of the music I grew up loving here on AP.net, The Big White Whale is an emotionally charged and nostalgic album that's relatable throughout. Take a listen to the entire album here and head to the replies to watch an exclusive acoustic video of "Last of the Lung Benders." Enjoy!

Kwame Opam, writing for the Polygon, looks at the all digital pop-superstar Hatsune Miku. Hit the replies for the video.
Last month, as an experiment, the video team and I took a shot at explaining who and what Miku is in the context of American pop stardom. To Miku fans, this will probably seem familiar, but hopefully for those readers who are as puzzled as I initially was, this will introduce a bizarre, wonderful, creatively empowering character.

Pittsburgh-based act The Homeless Gospel Choir will be releasing a new album, I Used To Be So Young, on July 15th via A-F Records. Today, we are premiering the band's new video for "Armageddon," which you can view in the replies. The unique singer-songwriter/folk-punk act is about coming face-to-face with adulthood and has no desire to participate, and cleverly tackles topics of social and political matters with utmost honesty. If you dig it, make sure to pre-order the LP.

In the replies, you can check out Bemis going in-depth about "Kall Me Kubrick", "My Greatest Fear Is Splendid" and the title track.
