Virgin/EMI is being sued by Victory Records for causing Hawthorne Heights to repudiate on their four-album deal with the label.

The Almost has been upstreamed from Tooth & Nail to Virgin Records.

Parent group EMI has decided to merge Virgin and Capitol Records to form the Capitol Music Group.

Virgin Records will be re-releasing Placebo's newest album, Meds, on January 23rd. The album was originally released in the U.S. earlier in 2006 through Astralwerks.
