Guess there's a new definition for the term "Warped Tour Artist", actually. PureVolume got members of 18 different Warped bands — including New Found Glory, The Used and Anti-Flag — to doodle self-portraits, and they're up for grabs in a new contest at PureVolume. Good luck.
A young woman has passed away at Warped Tour today in Toronto. Our thoughts are with her family and friends. Police say the cause was "likely a medical issue," but if you are going out to one of the remaining shows on the tour, remember to stay hydrated.
All Time Low's Rian Dawson and Jack Barakat paused during one of the band's recent Warped Tour dates to reveal what they love best about the tour, why they end their set the way they do, and "the best lineup I've ever seen". Watch them on PureVolume.
Local Arizona acoustic duo, While We're Up, were in a car accident in Wisconsin yesterday while following Warped Tour. One of the two members died immediately on scene, the other is in critical condition.
Last weekend, I was fortunate enough to attend Warped Tour for two days. One day as a spectator and one day working for No Sleep Records. I found out two things: I'm bad at trying to sell samplers to kids, and that a lot of work goes into the festival every day from people who could care less about what you have to say behind a computer. I want to thank Chris and Nabeel at No Sleep Records, Andy at Green Vans for letting me crash a night between cities, Sean from Bridge 9 for many laughs and Drew for driving us safely through the night. Thank you to all the bands and artists for all the talks we had during those late nights. You can read my thoughts here. What are your favorite moments...
Starting Saturday in San Antonio, we'll have AbsolutePunk buttons to give away at this year's Vans Warped Tour. I'll be at the No Sleep Records tent Saturday and Sunday in Houston. So come say "Hello!" and grab a pin and be sure to check out what our friends at No Sleep brought along with them all summer, including their sampler featuring new and unreleased tracks from the label's newest signings and alumni you are already loving. Don't worry, even after this weekend, we're going to leave the buttons at the tent for all the dates. Make sure to snag one before they're all gone.
FUSE will be streaming some Warped Tour sets tonight beginning at 7:40 EST. The schedule is below, and you should be able to watch it in the replies when it goes live...but if streams don't work when embedded, the link is here.

It looks like the Irvine City Council isn't exactly stoked to have Warped Tour come to town next Thursday. It seems like they're worried that people will be drinking beer and rowdily moshing. They're also afraid of Anti-Flag yelling at the crowd to "fuck police brutality" a bunch of times.
