Patent Pending has parted ways with their bassist, Drew. They have said it was on "good terms to protect the friendship of the remaining four members." Their friend, Claude, will be filling in until a permanent bassist has been found.
Although rumours have been circulating for quite some time, bassist Mark Iverson has officially parted ways with the Mad Caddies. However, the band, who are currently hard at work on their full-length, follow-up effort to 2003's Just One More, have made it clear that Marks' depature will in no way hinder their progress.
The future of The Hurt Process is apparently in doubt, as the band has cancelled all upcoming shows and tours. Vocalist Ivan Ferreira has issued the following statement:
Ryan Davis of Nural has parted ways with the band and is currently looking to play guitar in an established band; bands interested in contacting him can do so through his MySpace profile.
Brightwood has put up "Sit Still" for download on their MySpace page. Also, due to personal goals, the band has parted ways with guitarist Ben Hawkins. A statement from the band is below:
Showbread drummer Frank Lipari is no longer with the band. In other news, the band will hit the studio on February 8th to record their new album with producer Sylvia Massy Shivy(Dishwalla). A summer release through Tooth and Nail is scheduled.
Side One Dummy has announced that MxPx will be recording their eighth studio album before or towards the end of 2006 and will release it next year. This will mark the band's first studio album since Panic, which came out last year.
