World Artist Records has signed Celestina from Long Island, NY. A four song EP will be out via World Artist Records June 20th for free. The CD will be avaiable at a yet to be named website for free download of the artwork and songs.

Casey Cress (formerly of Fly By Night), the newest member of Versus The World, is reporting that the band will be heading over to Europe with No Use For A Name and The Lawrence Arms starting in April. Currently the band is on tour in the United States w/ The Suicide Machines, I Am The Avalanche and No Use For A Name.

Birdmonster are playing a free CA shows at Spaceland (Los Angeles) on January 30th and Mezzaine (San Francisco) on February 1st. Also, the guys are currently recording their full length and have launched a studio journal to keep fans up-to-date.

Jimmy Eat World are currently at home working on their sixth full lengh album. An update from the band is below:
Jimmy Eat World RecordingHey everyone. We hope everyone had a great holiday season and a safe new years. We sure did. We are currenly at home in the Phoenix area working on new songs and getting ready to make what will be our 6th full length album. Everything is going very well and the new stuff appears to be pretty rocking. Thanks to everyone who bought the new ep. we're really happy that those songs found a proper home together.

Jimmy Eat World will headline a date at The Metro in Sydney, Australia on December 16th. Tickets. The band is going to be over there to play with Green Day and My Chemical Romance in Melbourne on December 17th.

Last night, at Skrappy's in Tucson, AZ a man in his 20's, was allegedly shot to death while attending a Shattered Realm and Donnybrook show. The fight broke during out between two (or more) groups of people during Donnybrook's last song. Following the fight, the group(s) were thrown out of the venue and that's when all hell broke loose. According to sources, weapons such as hammers, machetes, gun(s) and brass knuckles were involved. Details are vague at the moment and I don't want to accidentally drop names of people who really weren't involved. USC is having a free show on December 1st starting at 7:00PM featuring Jimmy Eat World. This show is free to everyone, not just students. The show will take place at the McCarthy Quad (by Gate 3).
