Kaddisfly will begin writing their new album Set Sail the Prairie next week. They have a rough outline of the whole release, the track-list, the album art, and the songs themselves. They will record the effort March 1st, and will be working through the end of April.

"Only Crime are currently holed up in the Blasting Room writing and demoing material for their next album. Drummer Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore (Black Flag, Descendents) will be handling the recording. The album is expected out in November of 2006 on Fat Wreck."

Psyopus are currently writing their new album and will hit the studio sometime in April or May.

Melee are currently writing songs and are in the process of searching for a producer for the new record. The band hopes to have the release out by early summer.

Eisley are currently taking a break from the road to write some new material. The band has about 19 songs (and counting) in the works.

After more than a year on the road in support of their debut album, ...Always Leave The Ground, This Day & Age are now home and have begun working on and writing their next record. They'll be back in the studio with Ed Rose in March. In the meantime, try not to forget about them, they will be back in the spring with new songs and more fun.

This is one of my most anticipated albums for '06 -- who else is excited?

The following story is taken from NME.com: Green Day have revealed that they will be 'taking their time' writing the follow-up to the hugely successful 'American Idiot'.

The band are also still looking at a full length movie version of their seventh LP, and have said that they will not be rushing into making the follow-up.
