Well, I'm an avid shopper so I spend most of my time on 5th Avenue. However, the West Village is really cool.

Where are some good places to go in NYC? I've only been there twice for short periods, but now I'm living pretty close and want to check it out more. Do you have any suggestions?

Yeah, I have been to NYC so many times before but I have never been to LA. I do plan to spend a semester there, though, so hopefully I can see if I like it, haha.

NYC and LA are about as opposite as cities can be. Well besides how expensive parts can be I guess. I don't think I could ever live in NYC, it's kind of intimidating.

I'm more of a cold weather, smaller town person myself. FL is fun to visit though.

Well after college I would love to live in NYC or LA...a big city, or some place warmer like Florida, haha.

Get out? Do you know where you want to go? Or did you say that early and now I'm forgetting?

Yeah, hardwood floors was not nice most of the times.

And yeah, he is obsessed with every Philly team and doesn't let me forget it. It was kinda the same for me...we don't have any professional sports teams around here, really. The Buffalo Bills aren't too far away, it is still about a 3 hour drive to Buffalo from here. Everyone around where I live is obsessed with Syracuse University athletics (mainly basketball and lacrosse since the football team is absolutely horrible now). So yeah, SU basketball is the big thing athletics wise in central NY.

Never played on hardwood floors before, I'm pretty sure that would end badly for me. I can picture broken ankles and face plants. Not necessarily in a kluz kind of way, but because I can roll my ankles anywhere, even flat ground.

Is your roommate really big on all the Philly teams? I enjoy how into sports the majority of the city is. Where I grew up, the biggest sports team we had were the high school teams.

Haha, my roommate is from Philly...I'm not sure I could handle it if another team from Philly one a championship, haha.

And yeah, I play indoor soccer. From the looks of it, it's pretty similar over here too. I have played indoor on hardwood floors and on astro turf before. It can definitely get a bit brutal. I actually play for a team now during the summer at an indoor stadium. It is actual soccer rules, not indoor rules, but the astro turf realllly can take a toll on your knees and arms.

Oh I didn't even get a notification or anything. haha I'm so slow around ap.net, it's pathetic.

Anyways...

I hate football. It's really hard to articulate exactly why though. (Mostly has to do with my high school.) I can watch the superbowl and be fine, but other than that, no interest, passionate disinterest actually. Although I do know that the Eagles made it to the playoffs. And I don't know how much of a long shot it is, but I'd be so stoked for them to win the super bowl. Philadelphia would riot, again.

Have you played indoor soccer before? I don't know if it would be exactly the same on the east coast as the west coast, but that game can be so brutal. Full on sprinting around and using the wall to ricochet the ball around the "field." Only astro turf literally will tear your skin off. It's kind of a lot like hockey, only no fist fights.

Ahaha, I figured I would move our convo to our own walls, like you suggested :P I follow a lot of sports, haha. I played soccer, basketball, and tennis in highschool and I play club soccer and basketball in college. So yeah, I follow soccer and basketball the most. I'm really into tennis and baseball, too. I follow football, but not as religiously as other sports.

And this site is really cool. Thanks for the link. I'll def have to look out for that magazine too.
