I like new stuff to but as far as I am concerned you can never beat the old stuff, I get that when I go to the shop as well. I don't think I have ever gone to a shop where someone actually thinks I'm buying the record for myself.

TOTALLY! i like new stuff 2 but i grew up with my parents blasting this stuff. its sweet. i like stuff like Thin Lizzy 2 and old Metalica. but i think Def Leppard is my all time favorite. i have Back In Black (ACDC <3) Metalicas Black Album and Hysteria by DL. all i bought on my own. no help. it was fun to have people at the register be like, "oh Thin Lizzy, is it your dads birthday?" they never know its 4 me.
