i so want this team to win the world series this year. i know they're choke artists in the postseason, but they're always gonna be my favorite team. their offense is almost unstoppable. pitching is a question though.

still not sure about that. their pitchers might not be able to last deep into the playoffs. if they bring in a few more veterens (via waivers) then there is no question that the will win it.

their bullpen is pissing me off. roberto hernandez and ray king deserved to be punished.

the bullpin will deff be a problem. they should have made some trades to fix that while they still can. they do have john smotlz who is the master of finishing. however they have finally realized that in baseball it helps to have an offence. granted they are slightly advanced in age in some areas of the roster. i deff have a good feeling about this year though. my grandfather who was the biggest braves fan i've ever know or heard of died this past winter. crule irony

yea the braves offense is great this year, im just worried about starting pitching during a playoff series. one veteran would be great if we can get that, and if maddux and hampton start showing some consistency.

maddux and hampton have thrown pretty good as of late. but we'll have to wait and see what happens in the playoffs. i do not want them to play the giants in the NLCS. goddam them. we've always had trouble w/ jason shmidt and sidney ponson will probobly shut us down. and that mother fucker barry bonds. Damn! i hate that arrogant piece of shit! hopefully we'll only have to face the astros in the playoffs.

not likely, the giants are beasts. maddux knows that this is the year and he's not gettn' any younger, he'll deff turn it on for the playoffs, not to sure about hampton.... your lifetime stats get kinda fucked up when you pitch at cores field for a few years.

If he can start pitching like he did before the all star break again, he should be in. The hell with Shane Reynolds...the only reason he has a winning record is 'cause the braves give him insane run support.

yea, Ramirez is doing great. Reynolds is getting what, like an average of 7 runs a game from them? Besides the 1 run he got last night?

Reynolds has been awful. he's had maybe 4 quality starts this season. he goes to shit after the 3rd inning of every game it seems like. we're only paying him like $500,000 or something though and he's doing more than what Paul Byrd is doing.

i can't watch Ray King or Roberto Hernandez pitch. i swear its painful. did you see King throw the ball to the backstop in last night's game? that was terrible.
