It's going to be a very close, good game. If I had to bet, I'd put money on the Eagles.

I'm not a huge fan of either team...but I'm rooting for the Eagles. Although, I have so much respect for Favre...that man is a machine.

Favre has amounted to some major success ... he is a machine, no doubt about that. He has mad skills.

McNabb is great...but Favre has started 240 or so games in a row...as a Quarterback....in football. I think I could play about 3 plays as a QB in football before having my life ended. Plus, I've never really seen another QB congratulate the guy who sacked him. Favre is amazing. Go Jets!

eagles are 5.5 point favorites, they will beat the spread... barely

Get your facts straight. His record is more like 180 some consecutive games as starting QB. I have lots of respect for him, but I lost a lot when he let Michael Strahan get the sack record.

"The quarterback hasn't missed a game with the Packers in more than 10 years and has started in 204 consecutive games for the Packers."

That was in a report 2 weeks ago..not including playoffs

still_life

That's incorrect. His streak's been going on since the 92 season. There's only 16 games in a season. You do the math. It's not over 200.

ya simple math. 10 times 16... 160 atleast. maybe over 204 consecutive including playoffs.

Right....when I said "not including playoffs" I meant this year...so It's either at 205 or 206, depending on how you look at it....I wasn't trying to prove still_life wrong....I was just clarifying my mistake.

i just read an article from ocotber that said 197 consecutive starts at that point...so it's over 200 now

Lemme tell you, Im from Wisconsin. And a huge Packer fan(if you live in Wisconsin and your not, you are liable to get kicked out). The Packers will own the Eagles. With Brett leading the team..there is no stopping them. :)

It's going to be a good game (and a lot better than the NFC one). Indy just about had them beat last time. I don't think playing on the road will hurt them, because they play better on the road.

ya but indy has also only one 2 playoff games under manning. so i dont know. brady has experience. but i still think they will pull it off somehow.

The Colts are still on fire though. It seems like every time they have the ball they put together a TD drive. It's amazing. Their run defense looked bad today, but the Pats have no where near as good as a running game as Priest Holmes, so it won't be a factor.

ha. ya i know. new england doesnt have much but they find a way to win so many games. they have tom brady. they have average receivers. and an average running back. nothing specatular. but they have put together a nice defense. so i think it will be another matchup of offense vs. defense. but this time i think the offense is gonna win. because i dont think they can stop both james and manning.

Yeah, I think in the game earlier this year between the two the Colts were down by a big amount and Manning put together 3 TD drives in 6 minutes. That's insane.
