So NBC won't be showing Dramas at 10 like they always do.

So NBC won't be showing Dramas at 11 like they always do.this won't help them.
Guaranteed a Late Night Talk Show in prime time won't stand a chance up against a scripted drama like Lost.
They're sacrificing more rating to save money on production.

Damn. Now I have another television to ignore, as opposed to the three hours I don't watch on NBC. This is amazingly stupid.

well thats stupid. but i bet its to keep him with NBC because if they booted him off he'd go to some other station and take away viewers from Conan

leno's got a strong enough older audience that he wont fail in this slot. also, thanks to his car website/show, he's gotten a much larger following with younger demographics in recent years as well.
it might actually be smart for NBC, who's banking on leno's built-in fan base for raitings and his talk format as a money saver.

and potentially screwing over conan in the process by still making him leno's tail and now also having to compete with letterman. seriously leno, go the fuck away.

This is going to be a huge success for NBC. You all might hate Leno, but he's going to pull huge ratings with this.

I don't have a problem with Leno, I just have a problem with losing that time slot to a talk show.

I don't have a problem with Leno, I just have a problem with losing that time slot to a talk show.I think they are aiming to do something similar to what FOX does, but not completely lose that time slot to the affiliates. FOX only has 2 hours of primetime to fill rather than 3, like the other stations, so they are at a bigger advantage production cost wise. NBC has the worst ratings out of all 4 major networks so this sort of makes sense. Get rid of all the junk shows and keep the good ones.

I really don't watch any primetime TV at all - just DVDs, so the only way this can affect me is by NBC eliminating the chances of good future shows at that time slot.

SVU is fucking gross,
I'm glad I won't have to watch it while I wait
for the news, and Conan.
Good for Jay I say. (Rhyme)
I'm glad Conan isn't gonna be on as late too.
I have to get up early
