The New Lead Detectives

The New Lead Detectives are a pop/rock band from San Diego, quickly gathering local attention and hoping to expand on it. Together since 2006, TNLD started off as a solo project by lead singer/guitarist Luke McCain, creating songs in his room with garageband on a computer. After friend/bassist Matt Barger garnered interest, they teamed up with lead guitarist Corey Leventis and eventually drummer Vinnie Farina and coined their name from a movie quote. Blending pop and rock with influences from their favorite bands growing up--they don't try to reinvent the genre--only hopefully add to it and show thier love for good music.
