Cavashawn has quickly become one of Chicago's most talked-about buzz bands. Since releasing their debut EP in March of 2008, these 4 childhood friends have earned their impressive fanbase from the ground up, one-by-one, through great songs, tight energetic live performances, and a tireless work ethic.

These Mario Kart enthusiasts have climbed the ranks of the Chicago scene this past year by packing venues like Schubas, Beat Kitchen, and Metro, but their reach extends beyond the Windy City. The group has consistently toughed it out on the road, cultivating legions of devotees and active street teamers across the Midwest in cities like St. Louis, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Columbus. And their web presence is as contagious as their performances; with 30,000+ music junkies following the group on Myspace & Facebook alone, Cavashawn is a genuinely unstoppable force in cyberspace.

Cavashawn is headed to Santa Monica in early January to finish a follow-up EP produced by Jim Wirt (Incubus, Hoobastank, Jack's Mannequin) to be released in the Spring of 2009.
