The core of this bands desire is to live out what it means to long for God every day. The Never Claim started when its lead vocalist Jeremiah Carlson began writing simple love songs to God. He had been leading worship at his church for the past 5 years and had always written his own original worship songs. In 2005 he felt lead to show Break of Day Records Andrew Young some of the songs he had been writing. Thatís when they both decided it would be a good idea to record what was coming from Jeremiahís heart. After piecing together some of his best musician buddies and a few practices the band called The Never Claim was born. The band desires to see peoples hearts restored for their creator. They believe that this happens when we worship God not just because we are blessed in it but because he is worthy of it. Their desire is to see themselves and others transformed by the seeking of a worship filled life.
Stylistically they have a wide range of influences and have been compared to such bands as Copeland, Cold Play, Anberlin and Radio Head.
