thanks for the comments everyone! As with any piece of creative work, there will be varying opinions. To those of you who enjoyed this, great, we're in the same boat. I found the piece to be simple in its story, but neatly constructed in its design. I thought the usage of punctuation and breaks in lines added to the feeling of the piece. They helped to keep the pace by making sure you didn't miss anything.

To those that didn't enjoy it, I'm sure Mr. Obara has read your comments and will put them to good use. He is a very smart dude, and I definitely see him getting another feature with AbsoluteINK if he submits more work.

Thanks for the feedback everybody, both positive and negative. I appreciate the constructive criticism and consider it when writing/editing other pieces and always balance those comments against keeping things just how I had wanted to write them and strive to make everything as clear and concise as can be.
