Why Do AP.net Reviewers Praise Bad Albums?

A lot of people often ask why our reviewers have slammed a good album, or why a terrible album is getting a good score. Some even go so far as to say we get paid for writing certain positive reviews because there's no way that we could actually like it. Well, the Federal Trade Commission seems to want you to know that we honestly just have bad taste in music.

So will this put an end to the "Jason Tate gets paid to feature bands" threads/posts once and for all? It is certainly an interesting rule to be applied to bloggers, I wonder what the next step will be in blog regulation.

People need to stop whining anyway. If they like it, then continue listening. But if a reviewer scores it poorly, then so what? Not everyone has to have the same opinion. If that were the case, then there would be no point in reviewing albums at all.
