I come from a little town in Arkansas, in the upper North-East corner, near the boot-heel of Missouri. All we have here in Luxora (my hometown of 20 years, on the same street) is a Post Office, a Liquor Store, and two small stores. As a youngster, my dad would always listen to The Vault, the Def Leppard greatest hits CD, and I loved it. And my mom, as a native, always listened to Country and would sing along. So old enough to work the Radio I'd find something I like, I remember been just old enough to stand up in the car and Listen to Black Dog, by Zeppelin, wondering about that amazing guitar work. So school got most of my attention making straight A's until Junior high, but in 5th grade, September 11, 2001, I had for some reason missed school that day telling my mom, a airplane just hit this building. Before, I was watching TV and seen Chop Suey! Video on MTV, and at first didn't like it, what could you expect from System, but at the end I was like, wow. So High school I played football and a buddy of mine let me listen to Chevelle, being a die hard Chevy fan I loved it. Listening to it always would get me crunk before the game! Then I heard Hypnotize and my love of System (actually remembering seeing that video when I was younger) grew. Then I started listening to everything, enjoying it all soaking it in. Well in 07 I lost my cousin in a car wreck, he was going to be 21 that year (3 days before Christmas) and me and him had always been close, but he was on some other stuff, doing cocaine and drinking and driving, and guessing from the scene of the crash, he had swerved from missing a Deer on a foggy night in Mississippi. It decapitated him, the top of the car come down on him, wasn't wearing a seat belt. It threw his body out and the car caught on fire, so either way, if he would of had his seat belt on he more than likely wouldn't of made it.
