The Maine will release their fourth album, Forever Halloween, on June 4th. The band will put it out independently in the U.S. in partnership with their management team Eighty One Twenty Three, while Rude Records will handle the release internationally. The artwork can be seen in the replies.

The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die will release its long-awaited Topshelf Records debut LP, Whenever, If Ever, on June 18th. The band will embark on a headine tour with support from Dads and Cerce in May. The trek includes dates at Montreal’s Pouzza Fest 5/19 and Michigan’s BledFest on 5/25. You can see the dates here.

A note on how we made the list: Albums got docked points if the artist went on to far greater achievements (which is why Please, Please Me and Greetings from Asbury Park, great as they are, didn't made the top ten); conversely, we gave a little extra recognition to great debut albums that the artist never matched (hello, Is This It and Illmatic!). We also skipped solo debuts by artists who were already in well-known bands, which is why you won’t see John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band or Paul Simon.
