After releasing material on Fearless Records and Rise Records, Lonely Kings' fifth album, American Heartache, will be out September 3rd on Epochal Artists Records. You can get your first taste of the record, "Mind of a Killer," in the replies or on the band's AP.net profile. It was produced by Michael Rosen (AFI, Less Than Jake, Dredg).
California's The Sheds are one of the most exciting young bands to emerge from the pop-punk scene recently. Playing with the intensity of Boys Night Out along with the melody of a band like The Wonder Years, this quintet will turn heads with its new full length, I'll Be Fine, in stores July 23rd via Mediaskare. While we will be streaming that album in full in the coming weeks, today we're giving you a delicious taste with the premiere of "Writer's Block." Black Sabbath have personally invited Andrew W.K. to join them for their entire North American tour, asking him to kick-off every show as their exclusive opening act. Per their request, the King of Partying will perform a special DJ set every night before the definitive heavy metal band takes the stage. Andrew promises to spin a rabble-rousing selection of classic riffs, heavy jams, and crowd pleasing favorites spanning every era of hard rock and metal.
Dead Leaves will be heading out on tour with We Still Dream in July. Dead Leaves recently released their debut EP Amend Regret which you can stream here. AFI have signed with Republic Records and are gearing up for the fall 2013 release of their ninth full-length studio album.
The Cali-based band recorded with producer Gil Norton (Pixies, Patti Smith, Foo Fighters) at East West Studios in Los Angeles. The record was mixed by Andrew Scheps (Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers). "We are thrilled to be joining the Republic family for the release of our ninth record,” says lead singer Davey Havok. “We've spent over two years realizing this album and could not be more excited to share it with all."

Hardcore punk group Cunter released 27 this past Tuesday through New Damage Records and we caught up with vocalist Erik Hughes for an interview. We discuss the new release in detail, but we also talk about the future of his other band, which happens to be Moneen. Check it out here.
We just have a lot of fun with it, it’s like an opposite band because with Moneen we really analyzed every part of the music and picked it apart, tried different ways. With Cunter we just let it rip. All intensity, all the time, that’s our motto.

Glastonbury Festival in the UK is a long-standing and world famous event which just grows and grows every year and after taking a break in 2012, it's back with a line up full of acts that should not be missed. In a new interview, Rick Rubin stated that Kanye West recorded enough music for another full album while working on Yeezus. This should all be taken with a grain of salt considering how much material Kanye records for each album that never sees the light of day.
Initially, he thought there were going to be 16 songs on the album. But that first day, before he even asked me to work on it, I said, “Maybe you should make it more concise. Maybe this is two albums. Maybe this is just the first half.” That was one of the first breakthroughs. Kanye was like, “That’s what I came here today to hear! It could be 10 songs!”
