Death Cab for Cutie has announced an additional front-to-back performance of Transatlanticism. The show will take place at McMenamins Edgefield in Troutdale, OR on August 31st in addition to the band's Bumbershoot set in Seattle the next day.

Oh, absolutely. We’ve been talking around that idea for probably the last year or so. Like, “Are we going to do a Chroma tour now or are we going to wait until 10 years?” You know, this is the tenth year of Cartel. In October it will be ten years since we recorded The Ransom EP. So we thought “Well could we get away with just a ten year anniversary? We’d just play Chroma and a collection of other stuff. What are we going to do?” So we said, “screw it, we’ll just wait.” We’re close enough. It’ll definitely happen.
Echosmith released a Summer Sampler Free Download including their two new singles "Come Together" and "Cool Kids," with one more yet to be released. The band will be performing at Warner Brothers in LA this weekend, the first 50 get in for free. You can listen to "Come Together" in the replies.

Billboard is reporting that Sleeping With Sirens will sell around 60,000 units of Feel in its first week on the charts, which will be second to Queens of the Stone Age (projected 80K) for debut albums in the week ending June 9. That number should be good enough to land Sleeping With Sirens in the top three on the Billboard 200 (competing with Daft Punk for the No. 2 slot). This would be the highest sales week of the band's career and, impressively, Rise Records' highest-selling debut.
