Remember Static Radio? Well, they're back (somewhat). The final three members of the band (whom are also current members of Rescuer and Fierce Bronson) joined together to create Crimes. Black Numbers will be releasing the band's debut EP on April 30th, and you can get a taste of it by streaming "Out In The West" in the replies (or at the band's AP.net profile). You may have heard that Vampire Weekend will be performing at New York City's Roseland Ballroom on April 28th, which will be live streamed as well as having the webcast directed by Steve Buscemi. Over a decade in now and Senses Fail still deliver one hell of a live show. Here’s a band that really helped anchor our scene back in 04, and they’re still dominating today. Talk about seasoned professionals. And man can Buddy Nielsen scream his lungs out. If you can scream a song in Spanish (“Mi Amor”) and not miss a note, while still getting the crowd going while, I think you’re doing something exactly right. All the classics, from “Shark Attack” to “Lady in a Blue Dress” and the final “187,” sound even better ten years later, as Nielsen’s vocal abilities are...

This weekend in Hamilton we finished recording the first of the 4X7" series we're doing. 8 songs, including Rival Leaders (the Exploited cover we were playing at the January shows) and a redux of Standing By. They'll be limited to 400 (in honour of 400 Upper Sherman, a pivotal Steel City hardcore house of our youth). We're putting them out ourselves, they'll be available via subscription through A389, and they'll have all kinds of extra shit in them - stickers and patches and a poster that all 4 covers will make up. There'll be no digital version other than previews...

Luther is going on tour with Glocca Morra. Dates are in the replies. In addition, the band has announced a Record Store Day release. The 7", entitled How Can We Rest?/Astronomy in Colour, is the band's second effort with producer Pete Steinkopf (The Bouncing Souls) and features two previously unreleased songs.
