Hawaiian sextet Go Jimmy Go have made their third full-length release, uniquely-titled The Girl With the Fishbowl Eyes, available for purchase on limited edition gold vinyl at their official website. In addition to the original track list, the release features four new dub tracks by Ooklah the Moc's Jah Gumby, as well as a dancehall-inspired remix of "Don't Stop Everything" featuring JahSon of the legendary New York City ska outfit The Toasters.
The band originally released The Girl With the Fishbowl Eyes in June of last year via Moon Room Records.
While fans wait for specific locations to be announced, Go Jimmy Go has unveiled a list of countries in which they are scheduled to perform on the forthcoming Ska Brawl tour, on which the Hawaiin sextet will support American ska legends The Toasters. As previously announced, the tour will visit fourteen European countries in a mere five weeks, and confirmed locations include Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.
Go Jimmy Go are currently writing and recording for a brand new, full-length release. The band, who are currently on tour alongisde John's Brown Body in support of their latest effort, The Girl With The Fishbowl Eyes, has announced that if all goes as planned, fans can expect to see their forthcoming release in stores early next year. Furthermore, the band has announced that they will embark on a five week expedition to Europe within the coming months. Please stay tuned for more information.
