Howdy all,

I've got a ticket to the show on April 15th in LA (Brand New+Built to Spill+Desaparecidos) but it turns out I'm not going to be able to make it (pretty tragic).

I'd really like to get...

Actually, I think TBS has made a pretty big change in their song structure since they started. Hardly any of the songs on TAYF return to a chorus at the end (or, if they do, the chorus is radically...

Yeah, but it's silly to brag about being a famous rapper without a deal when you were already famous on a television show. It's not whether or not he did any work to get to where he is, but it's the...

Nicki Minaj is the best female MC in a long time, and one of the weirdest, most interesting MCs, male or female, right now. And she kills this track.

I could just explain why I think each and every one of those Encore tracks is meh ("Evil Deeds"? Sick hook and beat, but I can't get behind the lazy and embarrassing "head popped off head popped off...

"Never Enough" is the only song I would really keep from Encore, and there are a couple other decent moments. But "Mosh," I would guess, is probably among your nine greats, and I think that song...

To each his own. But you could bring actual ideas to the discussion, rather than an emoticon that does nothing but undermine both of our respective opinions. Just an idea.

I like Eminem. I love his first three albums. Encore is his worst offering, in my opinion, and the only truly horrible album he has put out.

Recovery has about five stellar tracks, but the rest?...

ITT: Irrational Wayne Haters.

And this is one of the only good songs on another mediocre album. Recovery is barely a step up from Relapse.

Can't believe anyone thinks this is halfway decent. And I'm a Top 40 junky. Dude sucks.

Yeah, POS stands for both Pissed Off Stef and Piece Of Shit, as well as a couple others.

This mashup is not very good at all.

Anyone who thinks these bands are obscure must only get music from this site.

And even then, they must only read about a quarter of the news posted.

The Em collaboration is the only good thing from Rebirth so far. And not just because of Eminem being on it. Just a good song.

Fair enough, I just don't think experimental or progressive accurately describes most of their catalogue, and I still don't see how you can deny the popiness of a song like "Bluish," regardless of...

Nowhere in a wikipedia article does it say "pop means having three minute, saccharine sweet pop hooks that can be instantly digested."

MPP, if nothing else, certainly has an emphasis on recording,...

Same. MPP has some tracks I absolutely love ("My Girls," "Summertime Clothes," and "Brothersport" especially), but about half the album I find pretty unremarkable.

Strawberry Jam is a super poppy album, too (and on that note, it's an album I think is far superior to MPP). At least in their past four records, AC has drawn a lot from pop music of various kinds.

I believe 12" records can only play up to 45 minutes (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). So they had to split it up.

Huh?

No, I'm implying that calling this a "Live Bon Iver album" is a little misleading.
