I had to give in and listen to Hollywood the Cracked. Fuck is it good. Sounds like Al the Killer mixed with The Hound (Of Blood and Rank), but with a bit more of a GAIBS:I/IKS sound than a GAIBS:II one.

Not really sure how I feel about Hollywood the Cracked but The Afterman sounds great.

Holy fuck, this double album is gonna rule so fucking hard.

My logic says to listen the acoustic Afterman because we aren't getting that version on the album. Plus their acoustic versions are usually amazing and vary enough from the studio recordings to stand on their own.

The full band version of The Afterman is premiering on RollingStone tomorrow at noon EST.

Afterman is really cool. Different for Coheed, but it doesn't feel like a full on song to me. More like an album interlude. Excited to hear the recorded version!

I can't wait for this album. Surprised it hasn't leaked.

I listened to both versions and omg. That guitar lead is going to be iconic Coheed. I refuse to listen to Hollywood The Cracked yet though.
