Was listening to the HG/FCC split in my car when I saw his tweets. It saddens me he is leaving but I wish him well in his future music endeavors (which will probably be great!) and still love handguns. Angst is a good pop-punk record.

Wow... I just saw them on the last stop of their tour with State Champs this past Saturday. Having never seen them, or listened to them before this seems crazy to me.

Hey, I appreciate passive aggressive dickery as much as the next guy, but that is literally all the press release said:

"Guitarist Jake Langley has parted ways with Handguns. The departure was mutual and amicable. Handguns will still be taking part on their upcoming tour with Set It Off supporting their brand new record Angst, out now on Pure Noise Records. "

Neither their Facebook nor their Twitter make any mention of it, so until there's a statement release, that's all we have.

I was there too and they all seemed to be getting along. I guess we witnessed the last show with jake.
