So I'm in a band called OTENKI (facebook.com/otenkirocks) and we are starting an Indiegogo Campaign called REBEL REBUILD RECOVER. I figured we're not the only band out there that might need a helping hand to continue so I wanted to post my campaign here and encourage others to do the same.

We are
OTENKI (
Facebook.com/otenkirocks) a rock/pop/alternative band deep in the heart of Texas! We've been a band for eight years, touring all over the US, performing on the Vans Warped Tour and the 2011 Billboard Music Awards! We've poured all the money, blood, sweat and tears we have to share our passion with everyone we come across.
We've started this campaign to gain support in funding the recording and the promotion of our next album! If we are successful with the funding then we will be able to not only share our passion, we will be able to spread our music over formats we have never explored (radio, MTV, etc.)! Our new album is tentatively being titled
REBEL. REBUILD. RECOVER.

Why We Need Your Help:
Simply put, what we’re looking to do isn’t cheap. We’ve always been leery of asking our fans to donate but with our own responsibilities (families, bills, gear, merchandise, promotions, and travel) we aren’t able to afford all the costs that come with making another record. There are so many things that go into making a record happen. From writing, recording, mixing, mastering, packaging, distribution, promotion...it gets
EXTREMELY costly to do things right. We simply can't do it on our own. We need
YOU to make REBEL. REBUILD. RECOVER. happen. We have been blessed with having great relationships with some of the best producers, engineers and designers in the industry, however, their talents aren't cheap. There's no need to sugarcoat it.
So you might ask: Why not just work with people who cost less? Why not just do the recording yourselves?
We want to make sure that we give you the best quality product we possibly can. Working with our producer/engineer
