07:48 PM on 01/09/13 | Pushin' th' little daisies I thought it was listenable. I hope she keeps progressing. |
She's going to keep progressing dude, she's 12. Next year, her period; year after, boobs; year after, discovers boys; year after, gets a Disney show; year after, becomes underage "sex symbol"; year after, drugs.

08:46 PM on 01/09/13 | I used to think I hated Radiohead, then I realized I knew like 2 of their songs. |
When I was 13 or so I dismissed them as a shitty 90's 1-hit wonder alt-rock band because I'd heard "Creep" and assumed that was it for them. Then as I grew up and begin branching out and listening to more music I realized that the band I had dismissed as some shitty 1 hit wonder was probably the most significant band of the last 20 years. My cheeks were red.

09:11 PM on 01/09/13 | Not news as in "hey look a stolen song," I think you're misreading the post. It's just "hey here's a song, listen to it with your ears." |
No, I just meant that Radiohead has a lot more influence in hip-hop than most people think. A lot of people use Radiohead samples because its accessible and have (generally) minimalistic sounds and beats.
I personally believe sampling isn't necessarily stealing either.

11:47 PM on 01/09/13 | 12 year olds know about Radiohead? |
i'm sure that she personally arranged all the music and that a producer didn't decide to throw in a radiohead sample or anything
|
12:12 AM on 01/10/13 | Why wouldn't a twelve year old know about Radiohead? The internet exists and she is exposed to a lot more than the average kid probably is. My 12 year old sister knows who they are

02:36 AM on 01/10/13 | Not bad. Reeks of the whole fake dark thing that Rihanna does, song's a little ridiculous coming from a 12 year old daughter of two quite famous people. But if I heard it with no knowledge of who's singing I'd say good song.
|
07:15 AM on 01/10/13 | This is actually surprisingly good... but kind of creepy coming from a 12 year old |
On point. | | |
