I want to compile a list of films that are so good, everyone should see them. It doesn't matter if it is action, sci-fi, mystery, horror, whatever. If you believe it is an essential movie, add it. I'm hoping to receive some recommendations for amazing movies I haven't seen yet, that I probably should have seen. Hopefully, you'll find a new gem as well. I'll start by naming a few that, in my opinion, are some of the best of the best.

I guess I should have worded everything a little differently. I'm just looking for films that are great that I (and others) may not have seen already, that I should watch as soon as possible (because it's a great movie).

And it can be any kind of movie, as I stated above. Trying to give examples of some that I enjoy, personally.
