I remember I bought this cd just because Geoff from Thursday recommended it back in the day and I liked the album art. Didn't like it at first, then it never left my car stereo.

It was one of the albums that really switched me over from listening to pop-punk to more indie back when I was in high school. I was already a fan of Murder By Death, and when I heard this album it was immediately who they reminded me of. I guess you can call this a gateway album for me. The concept of the album, the way they used the cello, the eerie haunting off-key sound that some of the songs had just all worked perfectly. And of course you can't forget the amazing lyrics in "Sierra". Just a masterpiece of an album if I do say so myself.

Also, maybe I just haven't been paying attention, but it seems like saddle creek hasn't been releasing solid albums like they used to. It could be just me, but it seems like they aren't what they used to be.

Great album, if I wasn't so broke I'd buy it in a heart beat.

I only got into this album a month or two ago, but I should submit a piece on how it makes the music-major part of me happy.

I might submit a video. It was probably the first album I really loved and it will probably always be my favorite album.

Whatever you need to make you feel like you've been the one behind the wheel. The sunrise is just over that hill. The worst is over.

Whatever I said to make you think that love's the religion of the weak. This morning we'll love like weaklings. The worst is over.
