P.O.S. and Innerpartysystem with opening act Eye Alaska
LOS ANGELES — September 16, 2009 — PacSun, the clothing store inspired by the California lifestyle, has officially announced tour kick-off, November 6th in Los Angeles, CA at the House of Blues and wraps December 20th at House of Blues in Anaheim, CA and tickets are on sale now here <http://pactour.pacsun.com/tour.php?P...86b23e57dc2cef> . Saosin, P.O.S., Innerpartysystem, and EyeAlaska as well as local battle of the band contest winners will be performing on each date.
In addition to the battle of the bands contest, PacSun is offering one lucky VIP winner the chance to fly to Los Angeles, spend the night in a hotel, receive VIP backstage access to the finally of the PacTour in Anaheim and go on a $1,000 shopping spree with Saosin at the local PacSun retailer. Second place winner to receive $500 and third place winner to receive a gift-pack from each band including their latest CD and signed t-shirt. PacSun stores near each tour stop will again play host to PacTour bands each day of the tour for free and intimate in-store acoustic sessions and dates will be announced soon. Not only can fans show up for the performance and meet and greet, but this year, Ernie Ball will be giving away a free guitar at every in-store performance. In conjunction with the PacTour, PacSun has launched the PacTour “Battle of the Bands” competition, powered by FameCast, in which bands can enter to perform on their local city date. From the pool of local battle winners, one grand prize winning band will be selected to receive a prize pack worth over $15,000.
